Solve the following:

a) 8x – 3 = 6x

b) 9x = 15(7-6x)

c) 3(7y+4)= -4(y+3)

d) 9z = 4(z+15)

e) 6(4x+8)= 5(5x+8)​

8x-3 = 6x

8x - 6x = 3

2x = 3

x = 3/2

x = 1.5

b)

9x = 15*7 - 15*6x

9x + 90x = 105

99x = 105

x = 105/99

c)

3*7y + 3*4 = -4y - (4*3)

21y + 12 = -4y - 12

21y + 4y = -12 -12

25y = -24

y = -24/25

d)

9z = 4z + 15*4

9z - 4z = 60

5z = 60

z = 60/5

z = 12

e)

6*4x + 6*8 = 5*5x + 5*8

24x + 48 = 25x + 40

24x - 25x = 40 - 48

-x = -8

x = 8
