→ The length of rectangle is 2m

→ The breadth of the rectangle is 1 m

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( l+ b)

→ Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( 2 + 1 )

→ Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (3)

→ Perimeter of a rectangle is 6 m

Answer:

Given,

Length of a Rectangle = 2m

Breadth of a Rectangle = 1m

To Find :-

Perimeter of the Rectangle

Formula Required :-

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

Let, The

Length of a Rectangle be 'l'

Breadth of a Rectangle be 'b'

So,

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2(l + b)

Solution :-

l = 2m

b = 1m

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2(l + b)

Substituting values :-

Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2(2m + 1m)

= 2(3m)

= \sf 2\times 3m

= 6m

\sf\therefore Perimeter of a Rectangle = 6m

Know More :-

1) Perimeter of a Square = \sf 4\times side

2) Area of a Rectangle = \sf Length\times Breadth
