Explanation:

1) Construction of Rhombus :-

→ Draw a rough digram to represents the figure .

→ Draw a line segment DE with 6.5 cm

→ Draw perpendicular bisectors of DE .

→ Join X and Y

→ XY intersects DE at O

→ Draw an arc with 2.8 cm on either side of DE from O.

→ Join E and S , S and D.

→ Join E and N , N and D.

BEND is the required rhombus.

2) Construction of Quadrilateral:-

→ Draw a rough digram to represents the figure .

→ Draw a line segment QR with 6 cm

→ Draw an arc from Q with 4 cm and draw another arc with 7 cm from R .

→ Name the intersection point of arcs as P.

→ Join P and Q , P and R.

→ Draw an arc with 5.5 cm from P and draw another arc with 5 cm from R.

→ Name the intersection point of arcs as S.

→ Join P and S, R and S.

PQRS is the required quadrilateral.
