length of bigger rectangle be x

length of smaller rectangle=y

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

2(x+6)-2(y+6)=10

2{(x+6)-1(y+6)}=10

x+6-y-6=10/2

x-y=5

x=y+5

area of rectangle=l×b

area of big rectangle=(y+5)×6

6y+30

area of small rectangle =y×6

6y+30-6y=30cm²
