5
take 1/x=a and take 1/5=b
then, 2a+5a=5/6
multiply by 6 in this eqn for cancel the 6
12a+30b=5

If u give the second equation so. i can find the value

choudharyshakti: 3/x+4/y=9/10
kishanhero: how to give u answer bro what was write in the i can't see.....the box and there was no option for pic upload
choudharyshakti: OK thnq
kishanhero: hmm
kishanhero: no thnxx broo

Solution :-

2/x + 5/y = 5/6 .............(1)

3/x + 4/y = 9/10 ............(2)

Multiplying (1) by 3 and (2) by 2, we get.

(2/x + 5/y = 5/6)*(3)

= 6/x + 15/y = 15/6 .............(3)

(3/x + 4/y = 9/10)*(2)

= 6/x + 8/y = 18/10 ..........(4)

Now, Subtracting (4) from (3), we get.

    6/x + 15/y = 15/6                      ; Solving 15/6 - 18/10
    6/x +  8/y =  18/10                    ; 15/6 - 18/10 = 21/30 (Explanation)
   -      -           -                             ; Taking LCM of 6 and 10 then solving it
____________________             ;  15/6 - 18/10
            7/y  =   21/30                    ;  (75 - 54)/30
____________________             ;  = 21/30

⇒ 7/y = 21/30

After cross multiplying, we get.

⇒ (21*y) = (30*7)

⇒ 21y = 210

⇒ y = 210/21

⇒ y = 10

Now, putting the value of y = 10 in (1), we get.

⇒ 2/x + 5/y = 5/6

⇒ 2/x + 5/10 = 5/6

⇒ 2/x = 5/6 - 5/10

Taking LCM of 6 and 10 and solving it, we get.

⇒ 5/6 - 5/10

⇒ (25 - 15)/30

⇒ 10/30

⇒ 2/x = 10/30

⇒ (10*x) = (30*2)

⇒ 10x = 60

⇒ x = 60/10

⇒ x = 6

Hence, the value of x is 6 and y is 10 respectively.
