Step-by-step explanation:

2x+y = 7

2x -y = 5

Subtract both of them

2y = 2

Y = 1

THIS IS SUBSTITUTION METHOD

Answer:

To solve the following using graphical method.

2x + y = 7

2x = 7 - y

x = 7-y/2 --------- (1)

2x - y = 5

2x = 5 + y

x = 5 + y/2 ------ (2)

Putting value of y as 1

so in eq 1

x = 7 - 1/2

x = 6/2 = 3 (3,1)

now putting y as 1

in eq 2

5 + 1/2

= 6/2

= 3. (3,1)

now plot it on a graph
