Answer :

x = 3, y = 4

Solution :

2x + y = 10

y = 10 - 2x ------ equation 1

3x + 4y = 25

Substitute eq 1 in this

3x + 4(10 - 2x) = 25

3x + 40 - 8x = 25

5x = 15

x = 3

y = 10 - 2(3)

y = 4

Answer:

From equaion 1st

2x+y=10

y=10-2x

substituing y'svalue in eq 2nd

3x+4y=25

3x+4(10-2x)=25

3x+40-8x=25

40-25=8x-3x

15=5x

x=15/5

x=3
