Answer:

3(2x + 1) = 2(x + 4) \\  \\  = 6x + 3 = 2x + 8 \\  \\  = 6x - 2x = 8 - 3 \\  \\  = 4x = 5 \\  \\  = x =  \frac{5}{4}

Answer⤵️

3(2x−1)²+4(2x−1)−4=0

say t=2x−1, then⇒3t²+4t−4=0

⇒3t²+6t−2t−4=0

⇒3t(t+2)−2(t+2)=0

⇒(3t−2)(t+2)=0

∴ \: t =  \frac{2}{3} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: or \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: t =  - 2 \\ ⇒2x - 1 =  \frac{2}{3} \:  \: or \:  \: 2x - 1 =  - 2 \\ ⇒x =  \frac{5}{9} \:  \:  \: or \: 2x =  - 1 \\ ∴x =  \frac{1}{2} or \:  \frac{5}{6} \:  \: or \: x =  -  \frac{1}{2}
