Answer:

3.8

Step-by-step explanation:

0.18 ( 5x – 4 ) = 0.5 x + 0.8

0.9x - 0.72 = 0.5 x + 0.8

0.9x - 0.5x = 0.8 + 0.72

0.4x = 1.52

x = 3.8

To be calculate :-

  • 0.18 ( 5x – 4 ) = 0.5 x + 0.8

Solution :-

Let's calculate it ,

⇒ 0⋅18 ( 5x−4 ) = 0⋅5x + 0⋅8

⇒ 0⋅90x − 0⋅72 = 0⋅5x + 0⋅8

⇒ 0⋅90x − 0⋅5x = 0⋅8 + 0⋅72

⇒ 0⋅40x = 1⋅52

x \:  =  \: 3  \frac{4}{5}

hence, x \:  =  \: 3  \frac{4}{5}
