2nd answer: 2log base 10 x+1/2log base 10 y=1
log base10 x²+log base 10 √y=1
log base 10 (x²)(√y)=1
10¹=x²√y
10/x²=√y
(10/x²)²=y
100/x⁴=y
100x^-4=y
log base 10 (10x+5) - log base10 (x-4)=2
log base 10 (10x+5)/(x-4)=2
This is the first answer: 10²=(10x+5)/(x-4)
100=(10x+5)/(x-4)
100(x-4)=10x+5
100x-400=10x+5
100x-10x=5+400
90x=405
x=405/90 x=81/18

wvaish: I've solved both of them
AbhinashDutta: Sorry. You were correct. The answer is correct.
wvaish: Hm
wvaish: Its ok
AbhinashDutta: Sorry about that.
AbhinashDutta: I WAS STRESSED OUT.
AbhinashDutta: But what about the 1st answer.
AbhinashDutta: Sorry. I did not see the 1st answer.
wvaish: Did u get it??
wvaish: Its OK!
