Solve the following equation 2w-{3-(w-5)}=1

2w - [ 3-(w-5) ] = 1

2w - ( 3-w+5 ) = 1

2w - 3 + w - 5 = 1

3w = 1+3+5

3w = 9

W = 9/3 = 3
