Solve the following equation 3x-2 = 2x+3 .

 \huge{ \underline{ \underline{ \mathfrak{answer}}}}

3x - 2 = 2x + 3

3x - 2x -2=3 [ transposing 2x to LHS side ]

➩ X - 2 + 2 = 3 + 2 [ adding 2 to both the side ]

X = 5

Verification

  • Only put 5 in place of "X" .

=> 3x - 2 = 2x + 3

=> 3(5)-2=2(5)+3

=> 15-2 = 10+3

=> 13=13

HENCE , PROVED LHS = RHS .
