Answer:

Given : 3m+8/5 = 5

=> 3m/1 +8/5 =5

In LHS the LCM of 1 and 5 is 5

=> 15m/5 +8/5= 5

=> (15m+8)/5 = 5

=> 15m +8 =5*5

=> 15m+8 =25

=> 15m= 25-8

=> 15m = 17

=> m= 17/15

Therefore m = 17/15
