Solve the following equation:
5x - 2 (2x -7) = 2 (3x -1)

Solve here :-

  • 5x-2(2x-7) = 2(3x-1)

EXPLANATION:-

=> 5x-2(2x-7)= 2(3x-1)

=> 5x-4x+14 = 6x -2

=> x -6x = -2 -14

=> -5x = -16

=> x = 16/5 .

Or,

=> x = 3.2

ANSWER:

=> 5x-4x+14 = 6x-2

=> x+14 = 6x-2

=> 14+2 = 6x-x

=> 16 = 5x

=> x = 16/5.
