3x + 4/ 2x + 7 = 4

we will cross multiply:

=> 3x + 4 = 4 * (2x + 7)

=> 3x + 4 = 8x + 28

=> 3x - 8x = 28 - 4

=> -5x = 24

Therefore, x = -24/5

or x =  - 4 . 8
