Step-by-step explanation:

x²+3x-4

((x)²-2.x.3/2 + (3/2)² )-(3/2)²-4

(x-3/2)² - 9/4 - 16/4 = 0

(x-3/2)² - 25/4 = 0

(x-3/2)²=25/4

x-3/2 = √25/4

x-3/2 = +-5/2

case 1: is 5/2 is +ve,

x-3/2 = 5/2

x= 8/2

x= 4

case 2: if 5/2 is -ve

x-3/2=-5/2

x= -5/2 + 3/2

x=-2/2

x = -1

thus, the 2 values of x are 4 and -1

hope this helps Mark as brainliest....
