\sf\huge {\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

3x+5y = 7-------①

11x-13y= 9-------②

To make the coefficient same of any Variable of both the Equation Multiply equation 1 by 11 and equation 2 by 3.

=> 3x+5y= 7-----× 11

=> 11x-13y= 9 ----× 3

New Equation obtained:

33x+55y= 77

33x-39y= 27

(-)(+)\:(-)

___________

39y+55y= 77-27

94y= 50

y= 50/94= 25/47

y= 25/47

Put y's value into :

=>3x+5y=7

=>3x+5*25/47= 7

=> 3x+125/47=7

=> 3x= 7-125/47

=> 3x= 329-125/47

=> 3x= 204/47

=> x= 204/47*1/3

x= 68/47

Check:

=> 3x+5y=7

=> 3*68/47+5*25/47

=> 204/47+125/47

=>329/47

=7

Since,LHS = RHS (verified)

Elimination method is a way of eliminating one variable from equation of two variable so that we can find value of one variable.
