Given linear equation in one

variable is k - 1/2 = 3/4

Add 1/2 both sides of equation , we get

=> k - 1/2 + 1/2 = 3/4 + 1/2

=> k = 3/4 + 1/2

=> k = 3/4 + ( 2/4 )

=> k = 3/4 + 2/4

=> k = 5/4

Therefore ,

k = 5/4
