K - 1/2 = 3 / 4

( 2K - 1 ) /2 = 3 / 4

2K - 1 = 3 *2 / 4

2 K - 1 = 3 / 2

2 K = 3 / 2 + 1

2K = ( 3 + 2 ) / 2

2K = 5 / 2

K = 5 / 2*2

K = 5 / 4.

Solution :

Given linear equation in one

variable is k - 1/2 = 3/4

Add 1/2 both sides of equation , we get

=> k - 1/2 + 1/2 = 3/4 + 1/2

=> k = 3/4 + 1/2

=> k = 3/4 + ( 2/4 )

=> k = 3/4 + 2/4

=> k = 5/4

Therefore ,

k = 5/4
