solve the following equation by the method of completing the square 2x^2+4x-16=0

2x²+4x-16=0

2x²+8x-4x-16=0

2x(x+4)-4(x+4)=0

(2x-4)(x+4)=0

2x-4=0

2x=4

X=4/2

=2

X+4=0

X=-4

=ans =2
