Step-by-step explanation:

4x + 6/x + 13 = 0

multiply both sides by x

=> 4x² + 6 + 13x = 0

=> 4x² + 13x + 6 = 0

=> a = 4, b = 13 , c = 6

x = [- b ± √b² - 4ac] / 2a

x = [- 13 ± √13² - 4*4*6] / 2*4

x = [- 13 ± √169 - 96] / 8

x = [-13 ± √73] ) 8

x = [-13 ± 8.54] / 8

x = [- 13 + 8.54] / 8 and x = [-13 - 8.54] / 8

x = - 0.5575 and x = - 2.6925

x = - 0.56 and x = - 2. 70
