solve the following equation (linear equation in one variable)
z+1/3=z-1/2​

Answer:

 \frac{x + 1}{3}  = y -  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \frac{x + 1}{3}  =  \frac{2y - 1}{2}  \\ 2x + 2 = 6y - 3 \\ 2x - 6y =  - 5

2z-6z=-5

-4z=-5

hence z=5/4
