Step-by-step explanation:

By Elimination method

3x + 2y = 5 ...............(1)

6x - 5y = 1 ................(2)

Eq.(1) multiply by 6

Eq.(2) multiply by 3

we get

+ 18x + 12y = 30

+ 18x - 15y = 3

+ - +

= 0x - 3y = 33

- 3y = 33

y = 33/(-3)

y= -11

Put the value of y in eq. 1

3x+2y = 5

3x +2(-11) = 5

3x -22 = 5

3x = 5+22

3x = 27

x = 27/3

x = 9
