Answer:-
x = -141/95; y = 47x/ -45

Step by step explanation:-
(i)
5x + 3y = 6
So, 5x+3y
————
6

(ii)
2x+4y= -7
So, 2x+4y
————-
-7

From equation (i) and (ii)
5x+3y. 2x+4y
———— = ————-
6. -7
Cross multiplication:-
-7(5x+3y) = 6(2x+4y)
-35x + - 21y = 12x + 24y
-21y -24y = 35x + 12x
-45y = 47x
y = 47x/ -45

So from the question you can take any of the equation and replace y
Here I am taking:-
5x+3y = 6
5x + 47x/-45 = 6
Now equate the formula and find x
That is, x = -141/95
