a) 4x/7 - 12 =0
Take Lcm = 7
4x/7 - 84/7 =0
4x = 84
x=84/4
x=21

b) 5(3+y) = 2
15 + 5y = 2
5y = 2-15
5y = -13
y = -13/5

c) 7/p + 15/2 = 11
Take Lcm = 2p
14/2p + 15p/2p = 11
14 + 15p = 22p
14 = 22p-15p
14 = 7p
p = 14/7
p = 2

d) 2x - 3x/5 = 7
Take Lcm = 5
10x/5 - 3x/5 = 7
7x = 35
x = 5

e) 19x - 13 = 11x + 35
19x - 11x = 35 + 13
8x = 48
x = 6

Hope it will help you
