Answer:

Hello mate, answer is here!!

Explanation:

  \boxed{\huge \green{ \mathfrak{answer}}}

 \huge \mathtt{ \frac{3x + 6}{2x - 8}  =  \frac{5}{6} } \\  \\  \huge \mathtt{6(3x + 6) = 5(2x - 8)} \\   \\  \huge\mathtt {18x + 36 = 10x - 40} \\  \\  \huge \mathtt{18x - 10x =  - 40 - 36} \\  \\  \huge \mathtt{8x =  - 76} \\  \\  \huge \mathtt{x =  \frac{ - 76}{8}} \\  \\  \huge \blue{ \mathfrak{x = 9.5}}

\huge\frak{\underline{\underline{\red{Solution:-}}}}

Step 1:-

Cross multiply,

\red{\implies\:\:}  \rm{\dfrac{3x+6}{2x-8} =\dfrac{5}{6} }

\red{\implies\:\:}  \rm{(3x+6) \times (6)=5 \times (2x-8) }

\red{\implies\:\:}  \rm{18x+36=10x-40 }

Step 2:-

Subtract 10x from both sides,

\pink{\implies\:\:}  \rm{18x+36-10x=10x-4-10x }

\pink{\implies\:\:}  \rm{8x+36 =-40}

Step 3:-

Subtract 36 from both sides,

\purple{\implies\:\:}  \rm{8x+36 -36=-40\:-36}

\purple{\implies\:\:}  \rm{8x=-76}

Step 4:-

Divide both sides by 8,

\green{\implies\:\:}  \rm{\dfrac{8x}{8} =\dfrac{-76}{8} }

\green{\implies\:\:}  \rm{x=\dfrac{-19}{2}  }
