Multiply both sides by x

We get

x² - 1 = 45x/14

Transpose the terms to LHS. We get

 {x}^{2}  -  \frac{45}{14}x - 1 = 0

Multiplying both sides by 14 we get

14 {x}^{2}  -  45x - 14 = 0

Factoring we get

(2x - 7)(7x + 2) = 0

=> x = 7/2, x = -2/7
