Solve the following equations and write your answer :-

Question 1 :-

 \longmapsto\sf7x = 21

Transposing 7 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf x =  \dfrac{21}{7}

Dividing 21 by 7,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf x = 3}}

Question 2 :-

 \longmapsto\sf15 + d = 32

Transposing 15 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf d = 32 - 15

Subtracting 15 from 32,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf d = 17}}

Question 3 :-

 \longmapsto\sf - 8x =  - 24

Transposing -8 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf x =  \dfrac{ - 24}{ - 8}

Dividing -24 by -8,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf x = 3}}

Question 4 :-

 \longmapsto\sf z - 12 = 15

Transposing 12 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf z = 15 + 12

Adding 12 to 15,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf z = 27}}

Question 5 :-

 \longmapsto \sf\dfrac{h}{5}  = 8

Transposing 5 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf h = 8 \times 5

Multiplying 8 with 5,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf h = 40}}

Question 6 :-

 \longmapsto\sf5y + 3 = 18

Transposing 3 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf 5y = 18 - 3

Subtracting 3 from 18,

 \longmapsto\sf5y = 15

Transposing 5 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf y =  \dfrac{15}{5}

Dividing 15 by 5,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf y = 3}}

Question 7 :-

 \longmapsto\sf3n - 5 = 16

Transposing 5 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf3n = 16  + 5

Adding 5 to 16,

 \longmapsto\sf3n = 21

Transposing 3 from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \longmapsto\sf n =  \dfrac{21}{3}

Dividing 21 by 3,

 \longmapsto\underline{\boxed{\sf n = 7}}
