Step-by-step explanation:

1. 3x-x = 6

2x = 6

x = 6/2 = 3

2. 3x = -4x -8

3x +4x = -8

7x = -8

x= -8/7

3. 3x + 4 = 4x + 14

3x - 4x = 14-4

-x = 10

x = -10

Answer:

3x = x + 6 \\ 3x - x = 6 \\ 2x = 6 \\ x = 3 \\  \\ 3x =  - 4x - 8 \\ 3x + 4x =  - 8 \\ 7x =  - 8 \\ x =  \frac{ - 8}{7}  \\  \\ 3x + 4 = 2(2x + 7) </p><p></p><p>3x + 4 = 4x + 14 \\ 3x - 4x = 14 - 4 \\  - x = 10 \\ x - 10
