Hi there!

Your Answer :- -1/2.

 \sf\dfrac{3}{x}  + 1 =  \dfrac{5}{2x}

As per question, We can use Transposition.

 \sf\dfrac{5}{2x}  -  \dfrac{3}{x}  = 1

Take LCM.

 \sf\dfrac{5 - 6}{2x}  = 1

 -  \sf\dfrac{1}{2x}  = 1

\sf{2x =  - 1}

\sf{x =  -  \dfrac{1}{2} }

So, the answer is -1/2.
