=x - x-1/2 =x/3 +1
on taking l.c.m, we get
2x-x+1/2 = x+3/3
x+1/2 = x+3/3
3x+3/2 = x+3
3x+3 = 2x + 6
3x - 2x = 6 - 3
x = 3
