Question 1
5x + 3 = 17 - 2x
=> 5x + 2x = 17 - 3
=> 7x = 14
=> x = 14/7
=> x = 2 ANS
Question 2
6x = 21 - x
=> 6x + x = 21
=> x = 21/7
=> x = 3 ANS
Question 3
x/2 - 5 = 11
=> x/2 = 11 + 5
=> x = 16 × 2
=> x = 32 ANS
Question 4
2x/3 + 6 = 100
=> 2x/3 = 100 - 6
=> 2x = 94 × 3
=> x = ( 94 × 3 )/2
=> x = 141 ANS
Question 5
4x/7 = 24
=> 4x = 24 × 7
