Answer:

(i) 35 = 3 + 2b + 14

35 = 17 + 2b

2b = 35-17

2b = 18

b = 9

(ii) 0 = -10 + 5(p + 2)

0 = -10 + 5p + 10

5p = 0

p = 0

Hope this helps you.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) 35 = 3 + 2(b+7)

35 = 3 + 2b + 14

35 = 17 + 2b

35 - 17 = 2b

2b = 35 - 17

2b = 18

b = 18/2 ,  b=9

(ii) 0 = -10+5(p+2)

0 = -15p + -30

0 ≠ - 15 p + - 30
