Solve the following equations:-
(i) x(2x + 5) = 0
(ii) 6z^2 - 6 + 5z = 0
Can anyone help me with these equations from "quadratic equations in one variable" of class 10?

x=0 or x= -5/2
z=2/3 or z = -3/3
i)
• x(2x+5) =0
• it can only be zero if x=0 or
2x+5=0
• 2x+5=0
• 2x=-5
• x= -5/2
• so x(2x+5) =0 has two solution i.e.
x=0 or x= -5/2
ii)
• 6z²+5z-6=0
• 6z² +9z-4z-6 =0
• 3z(2z+3)-2(2z+3)=0
• (3z-2)(2z+3)=0
• it can only be zero when
3z-2 = 0 or 2z+3 =0
z=2/3 or z = -3/3
