152x-378y=-74

let a netural number at x=1,2,3,4........ and y=1,2,3,4......

first put x=1 y=1 then 152-378=--226

second put x=2 and y=1 then 304-378 = -74

Answer:

x = 2, y = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

152x - 378y= -74 ----> [ 1 ]

-378x+152y = -604 ----> [ 2 ]

Adding equation 1 and 2

-226x + -226y = -678

x + y = 3 -----> [3]

Now ,

Subtracting equation 1 from 2 ,

-530x + 530y = -530

530y - 530 x = -530

x - y = 1 ----> [ 4 ]

Adding equation 3 and 4

2x=4

x = 2 Ans.

Lets put this value of x in equation 3

2 + y = 3

y = 3 - 2

y = 1 Ans.

Hope it helps you..
