Solve the following

-Find the slope and y-intercept of y= 10x - 1/3

- Find the equation of the line with y-intercept(0,8) and slope 3/5

Answer:

slope = 10

y intercept = -1/3

  • y =  \frac{3}{5} x + 8

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Equation: -------- eq(1)

y = 10 x -  \frac{1}{3}

Slope And Y - Intercept:---------eq(2)

y = mx + c

where m is the slope and y - intercept is c.

by comparing eq(1) and eq(2):

slope (m) = 10

y - intercept (c) = - 1/3.

2)given slope and point:

m = 3/5 and y intercept (c)= 8

Slope And Y - Intercept Form:

y  =  mx  +  c

By Substituting m And c:

y =  \frac{3}{5} x + 8

hope it will help you..
