Hi there!

0.25 (4x − 5) = 0.75x + 8

x - 1.25 = 0.75 +8 \\ \\ x- 0.75= 5 + 1.25 \\ \\ 0.25x = 6.25 \\ \\ x = \frac{ 6.25}{0.25} \\ \\ x = 25

You can check your answer by putting value of x in the equation.

Thankyou :)
