Answer:

x= 3 ,y=4

Step-by-step explanation:

3x+4y=25---------eq [1]

5x-6y=9-------------eq [2]

equation[ 1] × 5 & equation[ 2 ]× 3

then,

15x+20y=125--------eq[ 3]

15x-18y=27-----------eq[4]

eq(3)-eq(4)

38y=152

y=4

put y=4 in eq [1]

3x+4×4=25

3x+16=25

3x=9

x=3

Solution =

3x+4y=25 -----(1)

5x- 6y = 9 ------(2)

multiply equation (1)by 5 and equation (2) by 3 to make x equal.

than,

15x+20y=125 -------(3)

- (15x- 18y = 27) -------(4)

---------------

38y = 152

y = 152/38

y = 4

put the value of y in equa...(1)

3x+4y=25

3x+4(4)=25

3x+16=25

3x= 25-16

x = 9/3

x = 3

( x, y) = (3,4) solve
