x + ( \frac{x - 2}{3} ) = 1 + ( \frac{x - 1}{2} )

x + ( \frac{2x}{3} ) = 1 + ( \frac{1x}{2})

 \frac{x + 2x}{1 + 3}  =  \frac{1 + 1x}{1 + 2}

 \frac{3x}{4}  =  \frac{2x}{3}

 \frac{3x + 2x}{4 + 3}

 \frac{5x}{7}

x =  \frac{5}{7}
