Given,
x/2 + y = 0.8

→(x+2y)/2 = 0.8

→x+2y =1.6

→5(x+2y)= 1.6*5

→5x + 10y = 8.0.............(i)

And,

→7/(x +y/2) = 10

→14/(2x +y) = 10

→10(2x+y) = 14

→5(2x+y)= 7

→10x +5y =7

→2(10x +5y) =7*2

→20x + 10y = 14......................(ii)
Now,

Substracting equation (i) form (ii)
We get,
15 x = 6

x= 6/15

x= 2/5

PUTTING x= 2/5 in equation (ii)

(2/5)/2 +y= 0.8

y= 3/5
