x = 9/13                       y = -5/13

Step-by-step explanation:

By using elimination method

(3x-5y=4)\times2-(i)\\(9x-2y=7)\times5-(ii)\\

by equating (i) and (ii)

6x-10y=8-(i)\\45x-10y=35(ii)\\\Rightarrow-39x=-27\\x=\frac{27}{39}\\x=\frac{9}{13}\\

put x=\frac{9}{13}\\ in equation (i)

3x-5y=4\\3\times\frac{9}{13}-5y=4\\\frac{27}{13}-5y=4\\-5y=4-\frac{27}{13}\\-5y=\frac{52-27}{13}\\-5y=\frac{5}{13}\\y=\frac{-5}{13}
