=>0.3x-0.4x=-0.2-0.5

=> -0.1x= -0.7

on cancellation of minus in both side we get

=>x+3/3=7/15

=>15(x+3)=7×3

=>15x+45=21

=>15x=21-45

=>15x= -24

=>x= -24/15 ( ans).
