7x-15=2.....1st term

x+2y=3.....2nd term

multiply 1st term with 1 and 2nd term with 7

7x-15y=2

7x+14y=21

sign change will be there second term 7x is of + it will change into minus and 14y is of + it will change into minus 21 is also of + it will change into minus ......then

7x ( they both will be cancelled) -15y=2

-7x +14y=-21

________

-y= -19

y= 19

put y=19 in 2nd term x+2y=3

x+2*19=3

x+38=3

x=3-38

x= -35

so ur answer is x =-35 and y = 19........
