Multiplying the first equation with 1 and the second with 7,we get :-
7x - 15y = 2
7x +14y =21

=>-29y=-19
=>y=19/29.
Substituting y in the second equation,

x + 2y = 3
=>x = 3 - 2y=3 - 2*19/29
=>x=3 - 38/29
=>x = 87-38/29=49/29.

Therefore, x = 49/29....y = 19/29.
