Answer:

2x+3y−11=0 ->(1)

3x+2y−9=0 ->(2)

multiply 3 in (1) and 2 in (2)

3(2x+3y−11=0 ) => 6x + 9y - 33 = 0 ->(3)

2( 3x+2y−9=0 ) => 6x + 4y -18 = 0 ->(4)

subtract (3) and (4)

( 6x + 9y - 33) - ( 6x + 4y -18 ) = 0

9y - 33 - 4y + 18 = 0

5y - 15 = 0

5y = 15

y = 15/5

y = 3

substitute y = 3 in (1)

2x + 3(3) - 11 = 0

2x + 9 - 11 = 0

2x -2=0

2x = 2

x = 1

x=1 , y=3 for the pair of equations.
