3X + 4Y =10 -----(1)

2X -2Y =2

X - Y =1

X = 1+ Y -----(2)

SUBSTITUTING EQ (2) IN EQ (1)

3 (1+Y) + 4Y = 10

3 + 3Y + 4Y = 10

7Y = 7

Y =1 -----(3)

SUBSTITUTING EQ (3) IN EQ(2)

X = 1 +1

X = 2

X = 2

Y = 1
