Step-by-step explanation:

hey mate this is your answer :

2x -1y =10 (1) equation

1x - 1y =4 (2) equation

this your equation☝

I want to eliminate 1st number.

multiply the numbers.

change the 2nd equation symbols. substitute the y value in 1st equation then we find x value

y = 2 ,x = 6

checking:

now place the values In both 2 equations

2×6 - 1×2 =10

12 - 2 =10

10 = 10 (1) equation

1×6 - 1×2 = 4

6 - 2 =4

4 = 4 (2) equation

we get the same answers
