Given, pair of linear equations is
x-y=2, -1. 3x+2y=16 - 2

Now, from equn 1 , x-y=2
x=y+2. - 3
Substituting the value of x in equn 2. , 3(y+2)+2y =16
3y+6+2y=16
5y=16-6
5y =10
y=2
Substituting the value of y in equn 3,
x=2+2
x=4
Therefore, x=4, y=2.
