Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Equation

⇒3x + 4y = 0                (i)

⇒x - 5y = 19                  (ii)

To Find

⇒Value of x and y By using Substitution Method

Now take

⇒x - 5y = 19          (i)

⇒x = 19 + 5y             (iii)

Now put the value of x on (i) eq

⇒3x + 4y = 0         (i)

⇒3(19 + 5y) + 4y = 0

⇒57 + 15y + 4y =

⇒19y = -57

⇒y = -57/19

⇒y = -3

Now Put the value of y on (iii) eq

⇒x = 19 + 5y             (iii)

⇒x = 19 + 5(-3)

⇒x = 19 - 15

⇒x = 4

Answer

⇒x = 4 and y = -3
