Hey!
------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Given Equations are :

X + Y = 5 ...............(1)

2X - 3Y = 5 ..........(2)

From (1)

X = 5 - Y ...............(3)

Put the value from (3) into (2)

2 ( 5 - Y ) - 3Y = 5

10 - 2Y - 3Y = 5

10 -5 = 5Y

5Y = 5

Y = 1...............(4)

Put value from (4) into (1)

X + 1 = 5

X = 4 ............(5)

➡From (4) and (5)

X = 4 and Y = 1

x+y=5 consider equation 1

2x-3y=5 consider equation 2

from equation 1

x=5-y

substitute the above equation in 2

2(5-y)-3y=5

10-5y=5

y=1

substitute y=1 in equation 1

x+1=5

x=4,y=1 is the answer
