Answer:

2x+3y=−4--------(1)

x−5y=11

∴x=11+5y -----------(2)

Substituting eq. (2) in eq. (1), we get,

2(11+5y)+3y=−4

22+10y+3y=−4

22+4=−13y

∴y=−26/13

y=−2

Substituting y=−2 in (1) we get

x=1

hope it helps have a great day!

Easy

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y=−4   --(1)

x−5y=11

∴x=11+5y --(2)

Substituting value

2(11 + 5y) + 3y = -4

22 + 10y + 3y = -4

26 + 13y = 0

26 = -13y

26/-13 = y

y = -2

substituiting value

x = 11 + 5y

x = 11 + 5*-2

x= 11-10

x = 1
